As the old Jewish man walked through the Slaughterhouse ,
He could walk no step further, taking no more,
Since all he saw inside the hellhole,
Reminded him of the war.

As Abe saw the Pig march off to his death,
He wished he could think of a way to get him out of this mess.
Hearing the cries and pleads for mercy,
Filled Abe inside with anger he could only hide and repress.

Seeing the Calf being snatched from his mother,
Abe witnessed the death as he is put down humane.
The Cow mother mooing for her baby is ignored and refused,
Though her Calf didn’t feel a thing, yet the mother still felt the pain.

The female chickens who have to work to live and lay an egg.
Once they can’t no more, the nazi took her away and said,
“You’re no longer fit to lay eggs in your bed,
You’ll serve a greater purpose, you’re going to be dead and I’ll chop off your head!”

Seeing the sheep roam wild and free,
Filled Abe with joy as all they wanted to do is to live in peace and harmony,
Until Death came marching over the hill,
With no emotion or compassion, acting like a robot his sole intension is to kill.

As Abe left the slaughterhouse at the end of the day.
Evil had won, for humans were repeating the past,
What he had witnessed took his breath away.
Watch and let it all happen, he could do no long,
Since Evil triumphs when good men do nothing,
So he cried out “animal rights!” and it turned into his song.

Not wanting history to repeat itself, Abe made the righteous choice,
He started to think and feel for the oppressed,
He cried out his lungs in the name of the animals voice.

For the animals freedom, he took up the fight,
Becoming one of the children of the night,
In name of liberation and justice, they were the shiny dark knights,
For they knew in their hearts that freedom for the animals is what’s right.
Never surrendering, they took the animals out of the darkness...
And into the light...
